Yes, but English is my second language, redneck is my fustest. The accent is still there; even my Dad teased me about it, after spending enough time in AZ to lose his.

Well, they have funny accents in Arizona too. I have relatives in Tuscon... if that's not a weird accent, I don't know what is.

Yeah, many AZtecs have weird accents; stuff like "you like my seester?"

I was born and raised in a suburb of Phoenix and I've never heard "seester" or anything like that.
And I can't tell the difference between the way everyone around me speaks and the "standard" American accent.

Maybe it's because I grew up in too much of a middle-class white neighborhood or something.

Indeed it is. I haven't heard it in the States, but I've heard it in Gibraltar (beautiful place, by the way).
