"Bored" is a sign of an inactive imagination. Have you looked at the things in the "Finished Projects" forum? That could serve as inspiration, or you could just rewrite them in another language, improving or adding functionality or bells and whistles. Is there nothing you can think of that you would find useful? Here are a couple of examples: a friend of mine broke the button on her CD drive. I wrote a dialog-based app to replace it. Currently (as a learning exercise) I am writing a python app to automatically generate my Contributor's Corner articles from a straight text file produced by the author and containing pseudo-tags for organization, overall style, internal style, and menu generation. I recently wrote a program to scan an AutoCad file and scrape off a bill-of-materials. Stuff like that.

I have written all the beginner and intermediate ones (except ping tool), and 3 of the expert ones. I'm pretty sure I'm never going to make a "web logger" though.

Actually the ping is under the intermediate ones for a reason, it's not so hard.
Just had no reason to make it.

There's a guy in another forum having trouble with his game. I don't know if it's the ping, or the pong....
