Ok, the internet browser connects to the server but the message is not displayed on the screen, all that is displayed is this:

You may want to consider a packet sniffer such as Ethereal or Ettercap to get a definitive answer as to what is being sent over the wire. You might even fire up your browser on a known working site for examples of what HTTP is supposed to look like without bothering with an RFC.
