Hello

I think that this forum looked nice and therefore I created a profile and I hope that I will find this useable. I am pretty new at programming I have used LaTeX for a little while and have just started using HTML so help would be mostly appreciated. Furthermore I am from Europe, from a little country called Denmark. Is this a US forum or is it an international forum? And how can you trust the members, I mean how can you be sure that what they say is not just a load of bullshit that will fuck your computer up or something even worse?

Hi and welcome.

I am from the Netherlands, the admin (Big_k) is an American, but this forum if for anyone. The only language here is English, but you already got that I presume. Sometimes we make jokes, or are being sarcastic, but mostly we just help out because we would have liked it when we needed it.

We of course, can't give you a guarantee, because there is no way for us to do that. You will have to investigate yourself and check the facts. That is what we expect of you. We are not your mother, and we will not give you milk in a bottle. So pick up a book or search the internet, try your own code, we will help when you run into trouble and maybe even talk back to you if you just want someone to talk to.

EDIT: Oh and do read the "How to post a question" at the top of the C/C++ forum or "How to post" announcement.
