The Python version of the goomlolly that produces the Contributor's Corner articles on-the-fly from the pseudo-tagged text file. Lookin' good .

So... why would people license yours off these publishers and not just use Moodle?

I don't think you fully understand how it works Ooble. Read my first post. A publisher would buy it off my for a static price, and then make profit by placing advertisements on it. A win, win situation for all. Nothing has to do with the people who are going to use the site yet.

Using moodle would mean no profit for anyone, no private domain, and (perhaps) limited open-endedness. Plus, who would make it? The publishers are only interested in making money.

OK, then, let's see... if they were to use a free VLE, they wouldn't have to pay $400 to start up, and they can still put ads on... I ask you again, why yours and not a free one?

Because they'd have to write all the content!

OK, wait... you're going to custom-tailor content to whatever they want?

I'm writing the entire site from the ground up, including the layout, content, content-management, activities, tests, plugins, contribution systems, chat, login/authentication, images, etc ...

O___O;; You thought I was just selling a layout or something?

Er... yeah... :p

Well, I can't see how you can write better content than the experts, but sure, if you think it'll sell...

Who are you referring to when you say "the experts"? Who's be the experts writing it for free? I'm sure moodle doesn't come with free content...? And the so called "publishers" would have nothing to do with the actual source or intentions of the website itself (therefore, they wouldn't hold any experience in the matter).

I'm not following this. I think I'll graciously step out while I still can. Good luck to ya.
