Software_geek, I recommend you start with basic console-mode (ie text-mode) stuff. Once you learn the basics, you might be able to tackle GUI programming, but as it stands, you won't understand it at your skill level. A lot of console-mode stuff is relatively procedural (the code follows a general execution path that is more or less the same between runs), but with GUI code, you need to handle 'events', such as mouse clicks, that may come in any order. Thanx for all the help. I know im not an expert yet but i do have a good understanding, and at the moment i am finding it had to get access to a computer because i had to move bk with my parents(dont laugh), but i should have a laptop within a few weeks. O and reggaeton_king, id love to use linux, but once again not my computer

p.s. Info_Geek thanx or ya coment, but bare in mind you have 4 years more experiance than me. What othier program language do you know apart from c, cpp? if you dont mind me askin.
