XCode Audio Recorder/Player code required
Hey
I was wondering if anyone knew the coding for an application which should be able to record audio from a microphone input, playback that piece of audio, and save it if required...and then be able to open those files also?? Would be MUCH appreciated James  |

Now, what are you asking for? Someone to give you the code in any language, or tell you a language capable of doing this?

XCode Audio Program
hey
Thanks for thequick reply to go into a bit more detail I need a program which should be written in XCode (Mac OS!) it should be able to record audio of any length and have the standard file menu also to allow for saving the recording and and opening other ones. So-to answer your question-yes the coding-it should contain forms... Uni coursework...and i'mstudying Music Technology in the UK-why they are making us do programming i dont know-its far beyond my capabilities! You probably need to use CoreAudio. www.apple.com/developer has TONS of resources and sample code, as well as all the API docs.
http://developer.apple.com/documenta...dio/index.html is a good start. |
