buffering input from microphone
I am a third year Computer Engineering student writing an audio analysis program.
I would like to be able to read PCM data from the microphone and buffer it for analysis (NOT save it to a WAV file) Unfortunately the only service available to achieve this in Windows seems to be the MCI service. But I can't make heads of tails of it. Could anyone recommend any documentation that may help me solve this problem? EDIT: This is not a do-my-homework question. I'm only asking for possible documentation or reference, not source code. |
