Sick of programming?

Just wondering if any of you get sick of programming after a while and feel as if you never want to program again? Because that's how I feel right now. .

Oh! Now that I think of it, it's those bloody 4 loops that are getting driving me crazzy. They all look the same and I'm started to feel nauseous.

I get tired of looking at my screen or a particular section of code from time to time, but not sick of programming. Sometimes its good to get out and get some fresh air and then go back to hammering out the bugs...

Yeah I sometimes wish I never chose for computers, and just was a lumberjack or so, doing something outside. Like Jimbo says, fresh air will do wonders sometimes.
If you can just back off of programming for a while. If not, then try to finish the project as fast as possible, you'll feel relieved when you have finished.
If it's just the four loops you're having trouble with, ask us to help.

Sometimes I get tired of proramming but that doesn't last for long. Also, I really like the feeling when I finish some project.

I program 4/5 hours a day for work and school; I don't get sick of the programming, But I do get sick from all the pressure of meeting deadlines.

It's hell to reach adulthood and suddenly realize that you have about forty years of work ahead, week in and week out. To me, it's better than the alternative. I was also fortunate enough to be one of those who would have practiced engineering as a hobby if I couldn't have practiced it professionally.

An important thing to realize, for the sake of your mental health, is that there is more to life than your work. Realize that and set priorities. Arrange to spend time with other interests and with other people. Hang with groups that have a wide range of interests so all the talk isn't about circuit design or programming or digging ditches or whatever. If your work is predominantly left-brain, pick a hobby that exercises the right brain, and vice versa. In other words, no matter how much you enjoy what you're doing, most of the time, get a life.

I have been programming since 1980 for fun and since 1990 professionally. I have never gotten tired of programming. Sometimes I get tired of a particular programming project but for the most part I really enjoy taking something from concept to fruition. (from soup to nuts as they say)

I think my wife gets tired of me programming (as I program close to 14 hours a day typically), but I try to make time to do other stuff as well (hiking, fishing, yard work, playing with my kids)

The day I get tired of programming will be the day they rip my keyboard from my cold dead hands.

I've been programming for quite some time, for not only a hobby but a paycheck. There are times when I want to throw it all up in the air, but then I just "unplug" and do something different for a while... usually something outdoors. For instance, spending a week backpacking in the mountains, etc.
