Hello folks! I am a college student who is just getting into programming. I am taking into to programming with java. I love the class but we havnt really got into the nitty gritty yet. We are just finishing up learning our if statements and most of the class is catching on slow. I am working on a personal website where I will display some cartoon clip shows that I work on. I would like to enable a countdown clock thingy with java to indicate when I will release the next chapter of my cartoon series. Is there any sample codes that can show me how to do this, or perhaps some tutorials. I have looked ahead in my java book but didnt see anything like this. I imagine I will need to use an applet of some kind. Anyone worked with this? thanks in advanced!

As far as I know u can use simple java script for this, no applets required. We had to do something like this last year for Web Tech and I know I have the code somewhere. Hopefully will find it before someone else posts a solution.
Need to get my posts up a bit. Haven't been here for a while
