I use fluxbox as it is fast, simple and configurable.

But I must say, a_thing, thats a pretty damn cool desktop.

isn't that still built on gnome though? When I booted the thing up it said "Welcome to The java desktop environment" but it was gnome. Maybe I'll install it again and take a look around, see what I can find and let you guys know.
