You could practice turning around your attitude by learning to correct that sentence fragment....

Practice makes perfect. You remember where a question mark goes, which letters in a sentance to capitalize, etc. All syntax.

You may wan't to consider learning the basics of an easier programming language first like python or vb/vb.net, then consider moving on to C++.

Yes, it might be a good idea to start with something simpler to get the basics of, such as Python, and then move on from there. Programming can be a very interesting subject - a lot of programmers are mostly self-taught, which rather suggests they find something rather fascinating about the subject.

However, this doesn't mean that programming is an easy option. There are many bad programmers in the world, but very few good ones. But if you realise that there's always more to learn, and aren't afraid to recognise your own mistakes or listen to advice, then you already have a good start.

your question...you seem do define yourself to us as one who cannot pass their classes. i failed all of my classes in the fall semester of '99. i didn't go to class (did some other stuff like serving our country in the army). your question is basically ...."if i can't pass high school would i be a good programmer?". my answer is no. i generally regard all persons of high school age to be retards. they may know where napoleon was exiled to, but even a retard can find their toothpaste. b/c they know where it was. i am an intellectual bigot, i look down on those i consider less than i. only problem is that i'm also "crazy". you have nothing else REAL to do in high school, whearas, i get up @ 6:30 in the morning to take care of my dughter, still go to work 40 hours a week, so...bottom line...FUCK YOU , YOU ARE A RETARD, I HOPE YOU DIE,SO OUR COUNTRY CAN BE RID OF YOU. YOU ARE USELESS. GO TO HELL.

Yeah, that qualifies as crazy alright.

I'm with nnxion here. Your post was rude, childish and wholly unnecessary, bl00dninja, and if you're going to rant about the intelligence of today's youth, at least do so without butchering the English language. It's hard to convince others of your intellectual superiority when you appear to lack the ability to write coherently. My youngest sister is of highschool age, yet surprisingly has managed to grasp the fundamental concepts of spelling, grammar and punctuation, something which you seem to have yet to learn. Before looking down on people, perhaps you should consider the possibility that other people may be brighter than you think.

Sure you can. Just pick up a book or read some tutorials. You can easily find all the material taught in colledge at your local bookstore. You probably wont get hired without a degree but you could definitley learn on your own. If you believe your grades dont represent your intellegence well (mine dont either), give programming a shot. You may be smarter than they give you credit for.

bl00dninja, make a checklist of the things that you have done in your life. Then what I want you to do is write reaons why other people couldn't have had the same oppurtunities... but don't worry, you won't be writing much. High school grad, doing some factory jobs, going into the miliary, and now McDonalds... Correct me if I'm wrong about any of that, I don't quite remember all the worthless details from the "tell us about your life" thread. Don't get me wrong, I respect the military, but they take everybody who's not disabled and even they didn't think you were worth more than a job in the morgue.

On another thread you posted a flame towards me stating something like, "ever wonder why there are no 17-year olds in congress? CAUSE YOUR ALL MORONS!" I responded a few minutes later asking you if you knew why there weren't any alcoholics in congress, and then you replaced your post with nothing but periods. Most of the elders here know your history, and it's just a joke that you even have the audacity to say anything to anybody on here.

Fuck you bl00dninja, the only thing you need to say to any of us, is "Would you like fries with that?"
