First time I heard of Curling was in the recent Olympics... actually watched it.

I had seen it many times on the sports channel, some years ago I thought they were crazy, now it actually seems like a nice sport.

Curling is huge in Canada. Esspecially in the prairie provinces like Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. It's also really big in Eastern Canada as well.

curling is also really big here in North Dakota and the other upper midwest states. The Women's Curling team in the olympics was from Minnesota. and they beat a team from Fargo, ND in the final round of tryouts to go to the olympics. I think this was the second winter olympics with Curling, I think anyway. I will have to look and see for sure
