First time I heard of Curling was in the recent Olympics... actually watched it.

I still like your idea of pool for fitness. Besides, the cue is much better for self-defense than bare knuckles...

curling is also really big here in North Dakota and the other upper midwest states. The Women's Curling team in the olympics was from Minnesota. and they beat a team from Fargo, ND in the final round of tryouts to go to the olympics. I think this was the second winter olympics with Curling, I think anyway. I will have to look and see for sure
