Programming is an discipline that requires a certain degree of intelligence, patience, and thought; perhaps certain people could demonstrate these valuable traits by not descending to the verbal level of drunken football yobs?

Microsoft believes in reusability......

C# is just an example of how it has used C, C++ and JAVA for C#....

Jesus guys, calm down. Enough with the flames. As the other thread states, the flamewars must stop. What reggaeton_king is saying seems to be a little extreme, but nevertheless, I have heard that opinion expressed by many. If you want to discredit his claims, please do so in an intelligent manner rather than stooping to unjustified personal attacks and puerile vulgarity.

And as a reminder, if someone sees stuff like this (flames), please PM me about it. For some reason, it seems that the report bad posts isn't working correctly, and I don't get to see posts that people have reported. I check PFO usually 5+ times a day, so I will get to it asap. Thanks again, guys.

You know what...lol...I read more on C# and it isnt that bad at all. I am going to consider learning it! But with that in mind, should I continue with Java for now and then move on the C# or learn both at the same thing?

against I apologize for my extreme opinion and saying!

Smile Just a few words on the issue ...

Greetings everyone!

A lot has been written here about programming languages similarities and differences. Just a couple of reminders:

- spoken language is just like programming code, i.e, depending on the synthax, you might not like the results you get. There's always the right "language" for each situation;

- Self-righteousness preceeds defeat and keeps one from seeing the greater spectrum of things;

Last, but not least: it takes knowledge to give good advice, but it takes wisdom to profit from it.

Best regards to all,

JC

The report post button isn't working right now because the email on the server is turned off. I turn it on every once and awhile but right now It is turned off. Just thought I would let you guys know. just make sure to PM a mod or me if you want to report a post. I will make an announcement when the email stuff is turned back on.

Anyway back to the topic. It has been stated a few times. all languages have there ups and downs, you just need to learn to use the best tool for the job at hand.
