Not all programmers know HTML, or are any good in it, so I think it's a valid observation to make. Those who go out of their way to point out other people's ignorance should be wary of throwing stones in glass houses; there's always going to be people around who know more than you do.

Consider this a 'luxury', so if you know one... learning the other will be easier. There is a demand in the industry for both.

HTML & CSS(which is just to me basically plain text) is something I decided to learn during the summer.

@Ghost, lettme hear how I try to impress people! All the threads I start are asking for good Compilers and FEEDBACK from other EXPERIENCED PROGRAMMERS. I notice you were to never come to think of something nice or even so what normal to say!

@I.R.
now see thats what made me lean towards C#. Between choosing C++ or C#. C++ still to me looks hard. And I have no shame in saying that. But to tell you the truth, I heard more Java around then C# or any .NET crap. Sorry if I am not a world travel for those who think I dont get out must.

Let's not turn this into a flame war. You originally wrote that C# stole concepts from Java, but all languages do this. Java is no more original than C# is, and whilst promoting Java is all well and good, you should be aware of the limitations of your language. C# does some things better than Java; it's less mature, lacks libraries, and the same level of cross-platform support that Java enjoys. But at the same time C# boasts a more advanced syntax, and a swell of support Java would do well to look out for.

Being partisan about programming languages is never a good idea. Use the right language for the job. Recognise the limitations of the language you use, as well as its advantages. Unless you can be somewhat impartial about the choice of computer language, your programming will suffer as a result.

Now you see Arevos, this is called "The Experienced" talking and telling me this. I only have one real (not considering VB) of a programming language, JAVA. People like to jump at you and say you're dumb! Grow up. Sorry if I have better things to do, like chores, hang out with friends, job, then to sit, like Ghost, on the computer for 16-19 hrs a day and program. I program at least 3 hours a day and max is about 5(including school). Sharing wisdom is some far more advanced for Ghost to learn then what is intend. btw thanks Arevos for sharing that with me, Arevos!

Haha sorry if I upset you, but in the history of our messages reggaeton, I don't like how you respond. I dont like you illogical attitude. But all the same, I should not have said anything at all.

Sorry to those who wasted time reading my post. Hope you learn more reggaeton and begin to understand all the things you wish. Arevos, though I like you trying to keep me in check, haha hard I know, I'd like for you to know that I do concider HTML a valid language, as I sad a few messages up.

Tip for you reggaeton if you want it. Next time you want advice and dont want to turn it into a flamer war, dont start it out as a war.

*I dont spend that much time programming, I get to get on this forum and yell about something every now and then.

I, myself am sorry, but you were the better man and came out and said it first. I did get really upset but its all good. Now, please tell me something though, In my past messages, please explain what was taken for an illogical attitude? I try to be friends with everyone here and don't insult nor bash on something b/c they are newbies or beginner programmers, I am a beginning programmer looking to become a professional one who gets paid to enjoy what one does.

Now back to C#, please ANYONE, including GHOST lol, explain what differences does C# have compared to Java? I thought J++ or J# was the duplicate of Java?
