You could always just export your Fireworks pngs into jpeg format...

Yeah, just do that or go to Save As...when the window opens, click on the bottom most drop down menu and save it in the format of JPEG!

You can insert a .PNG by changing the Files of type menu to All Files [*.*], and then browsing to the Image that you would like.

If your talking about doing that in VB, i did ands when i got it to show and tryed to insert it i get an Invalid Picture Format.

I dont know where i found it i think it was on msdn.microsoft.com, but anyway it was about this father who made games for windows and his son wanted to grow up and do the same thing so his father made a memory game for him. He said he used png's but he didnt say how he got them to work.

Im not sure ill keep poking aroudn a bit and hoefully will find sumthing

Thank yall for the help thus far.

bigguy, what kind of images are these when JPEG's quality isnt good enough? Did you try .tiff? I am not really familiar with that format, I never really used it but try it out!

bigguy, theres no reason why the way I sugessted woulden't work in visual basic 6, I tested it at home and at college and it worked fine. I don't know any other reason. What version of visual basic are you using?
