Microsoft .net framework SDK

while i'm installing boraland delphi 8.0 a message interrupt the process it said that i require to install microsoft .net framework sdk v1.1
although after i have installed that software the problem is still the same , could anyone help!

which newest version did you mean? i've installed v1.1 for microsoft .net and version 8 for delphi.

Why isn't the .NET SDK included with Delphi? 'Tis a little odd. Are you sure you didn't just miss a checkbox you have to tick or something?

I was wondering why such softwate is required for delphi while other languages aren't.
anyway it was just a warning message accidently appeard to me then the installation process have been stopped and i'm now some confused about that!

I installed Delphi 2005 from a magazine coverdisk (personal version). The .NET framework SDK installed from the disk without and problem and Delphi is running fine.

The .NET framework was version 1.1.
