God is the God of all people, Allah is not. We should not be discussing this here though.

you may want to look at the recent religous poll... you will notice the percentages imply that this is not the case.

What do you know about the word Allah?
Allah is God
God is Allah
Do not be ridiculous,
I think you should learn Arabic to understand this

I don't believe in god, but doesn't everyone have their own(who choose to)? If you believe in allah, he is your god, no one elses. If two people believe in him, he is god to both of them. If one person believes in lets say, allah, and another believes in... loki(lol), then they each have their own god.

You do not need to believe, but muslims believe He is the God of all people....if this does not suit you guys, you do not have to believe.......(of course according to your disbelief)

But who created you jayme?

I think Christianity made everybody disbelieve because of all the contradictions it it....
but you should look for the truth of your existence.....have you been created by chance? when you simply look at your eyes in the mirror, don't you see your eyebrows above your eyes to protect them from sweat?moreover, the hair of the eyebrows grows horizontally to prevent water ,dirt and sweat from entering the eyes.
Does this simple example happen by chance?

First off, welcome to the club. I hope you find what you're looking for here. We're more than happy to help you with any questions you have.

Please don't start discussing religion. We've found in the past that it can lead to flamewars, and there's a rule against it for this very reason. There are a number of forums based on religion you can visit if you want to debate the existence of God, creationism, etc.

That said, I liked your argument. Many religious people, when trying to convert "non-believers", tend to use more spectacular examples such as natural marvels - the Angel Falls in Venezuela, for example. It's a shame people regard a waterfall as more amazing than the marvels of the human body.

At a glance it looks like it covers a good range of topics, but I haven't read that one myself either.

Ooble is right, religion should not be discussed in here. My favorite FAQ about god can be found here, though: The Official God FAQ

Where to start? At the beginning.
