unless your trying random text in the browser then you most likely won't find a compiler. I told you before and i'll tell you again, www.google.com search c++ compiler

This guy's amazing...

Pretty much any base Linux system comes with gcc - which is also available for Windows. If you're spending money (which you should be prepared for, O Mighty Game Maker), then you can pick up Borland or (God forbid) MSoft Visual Studio, which has enough tools (and bloat) to make just about any Castlevania rip-off under the sun. There's also CodeWarrior, which specifically caters to stuff like this with their different products.

If you want to use DirectX, I recommend Visual C++:

If you'd prefer an open-source compiler, check out Code::Blocks:

Use either Code::Blocks or Dev C++. Those are some of the best. There are some others too. Hey you should check out http://www.freeprogrammingresources.com/ . they have some awesome free stuff there.

NOTE: anything made by a linux developer is probably your best bet for freeware.

I prefer Dev-C++, I recomend using that IDE/compiler over any other.
