NetBeans or Eclipse in my opinion. BlueJ is overly simplified and skimps on features. The whole diagram thing is a nice idea, but doesn't make up for the rest of the program.

After having more exposure to Java, i switched over to Eclipse, because I think it's more flexible than NetBeans for the work I do. I did find some irks in NetBeans (like not being able to do console input right in the IDE for debugging), but I think they have since fixed that. |
