I need to search a file for a specific number. or instance this is what the file
contains:

1001234592

and i want the program to search the file for '4' could anyone help me?

What have you tried so far? It is really easy. You read the file, character by character, You compare each character using this line of code:

(Toggle Plain Text)

if(c - '0' == 4)

where c is the just-read character.

Wasn't aware that being able to read from a file made one an expert.. since it does, I guess I better start bragging about how I'm an expert now.
