3 language combo.

If you had to pick 3 languages, and only 3, what would they be. This is kind of to see which is the best combo but also to see the variation in the forums as to what everybodies opinions are on their favorite 3 language combo. I did not do a poll because it would take quite a long while to name off every 3 language combination.

For me it would have to be, C++, Python, and XHTML. C++ being a good application language, Python being a great scirpting language as well as internet language, and XHTML being a good language to do web design work.

This is assuming technologies don't change

C++ -- for application development
Python -- for scripting
Java -- For applets (and so that I can use eclipse )

Ruby - Very sexy, very smooth, very trendy, great for small apps and I could also see myself making websites in it in a few years.

C or C# - More robust/faster programming languages. C is available everywhere and is compiled into binary, while C# is just a nice language in general. I don't know which one to chose.

PHP - I've made a lot in PHP and I presume that I shall be making lots more, although I loathe the language for its ugly syntax and messy backlog of functions. It's very useful on websites though, mostly because there are so many tutorials and documentation for it!
