I would like to get familiar with flash actionscript, but most of the tutorials I find aren't too helpful. Probably because each of the tutorials I find are trying to make comparisons with Javascript, and I don't know that either. I was wondering if anyone knows any good tutorials out there that compare the commands with Basic commands? Thanks.

If you are using Macromedia flash, look in the help, there are some good tutorials. This is how I learned actionscript.

Like Ivan said "Look in the help docs. when your in Flash" Other than that I would suggest Google.
