Here is a rare case shown where goto's help to clean the readability of the code < http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~s...oroutines.html >. The ANSI C language and the Standard library do not supply facilities for multiprogramming, parellel operations, syncrhonization, or coroutines.

Another area where goto's are used in C are hard real time systems.

Writing spahgetti code create job security. cause if you write a program that is messy as hell, but you know what it does they wont fire you cause they will need you around to maintain your program

thats true... and damnnnnn has that been done here... guess who has to maintain that shit code. me.

but yeah, if you want job security use a language the 'lifers' don't know and top it off with no comments and poorly named variables and such.

exactly!!!
and if in any way posible do it all in linux... and then swear it's not possible to port it to win... most lamers won't even know how to compile it.
another method also great for keeping job is use of inline assembly...
it doesn't have to do anything but if someone with no knowledge of assembler looks at the code.... simply said their jaws drop when they see mov ax,ex
Simple and fun.

oh oh oh and my favorite .... use 2 or 3 difrent languages to name variables
something like :

int die_rotten_jabolko;
char list_of_fruchtis[100];

and so on...

You can even use comments just be sure you're the only one who understand them...
// 22.6.2004 placed it in... has to change...move to stretch func.
