Broadway shows
Just wondering who all has attended a broadway show(s). Which one(s) is your favorite.
I've been to Phantom of the Opera (absolutly loved), Aeda (eh, it was ok), Man of la Mancha (pretty good). |

Phantom of the Opera (good play, decent production), Cats (eh), some 50's revival play (not bad, very good production), and a few others I think. I'm also going to see Man of la Mancha soon.

Never been to a Broadway show, but I've been to plenty of West End shows. My favourite was probably either Bombay Dreams or The Jerry Springer Opera.

Ooble, they are still Broadway musicals even if you didn't see them in the 1930s :p.
Showboat, Oklahoma, Phantom, Catz, Starlight, Joseph (though the last four are Andrew Lloyd Webber who is just a cheap plagirist imitation who looks like a frog) and last but not least, We Will Rock You (queen the musical). So then, who likes the opera? |

i guess in the sense that they are regarded good enough to be performed in physical location in NY, USA. used to be big into a play my church did when i was younger. did everything from acting to sound, lights, backstage prep ("key grip" type of position), etc. lost interest as i grew older (but i did act in a play in college round 1 where i performed a dennis leary-style monologue). the interesting thing about stage productions (vs. tv or movie) is the difference in acting. how to properly exaggerate to allow the audience to SEE and HEAR what you're doing. have no intention of ever going to see another play.
