I'm sure these comments are going to seem pointed, but I think they should be said:
1.) If you have a problem with the way admins/mods run things bring it up to them, but keep in mind it's still their site to run. But recognize this isn't a democracy, they run the board how they see fit to help the community as a whole. Sometimes they're right, sometimes they aren't but hey their only human. Being beligerant with them isn't going to help your case. 2.) That being said. If you don't like the way things are going, then leave. You're not forced to come here, and development sites like this are a dime a dozen. I've wandered in to places like this stayed a while then left, I'll probally be leaving here myself in a few weeks/months possibly faster if some of these issues don't get resolved. 3.) It's the personalities that make a place worth coming back to. You can go pretty much anywhere and get technical questions answered, it's the ongoing discussions, and the community projects that make a place worth while. There has to be some give and take, but there also has to be moderation. It's a difficult balance to strike... but you have to recognize there will be friction along the way. -MBirchmeier *hops off soapbox* |

I fully agree with flame wars needing to be stopped.

Hmm, I missed the flame wars, but I promise that I will never stop not starting them.
I also think that the whole reason forums were put on this earth is so that people with like-minded interests(such as wholesome, upraising Programming) could get together and talk about the things they like, not to fight over stupid things. So, yeah, I agree with BigK too.
