Where a website like optimal source only has one design flaw. If you turn CSS off the featured product is at the bottom of the page. You guys act like I have no idea what I'm doing.
All websites should be designed so that they're navigable without Javascript or CSS. If your site uses it as a necessity to browse through, then you can't blame the user, only yourself. You say your website is a place to show off your work? With javascript turned off you can't even get to it! Like I said it's a terrible mistake, and it proves that you didn't know what you were doing while making that site. If you can't understand and admit that, you still don't know what you're doing.

If you turn CSS off you can use Bja888.com. The menus are just not where I want them.

bja888 your website is the first impression your users get of your work.... doing something so moronic as to design a page as you did for yourself is telling everybody else what we already know: that you're incompetent as a web designer.

Note how you sidestepped your problems with Javascript dependency. Dancing around the problem just proves how much skill you have (I'll give you a hint: it's minutely little to none).

Exactly, because a JavaScript driven menu system is completly acceptable for a personal web site. Where it is not acceptable for a buisness site. It's just like flash. When someone wants to see cool shit in flash they dont care if the menu is in flash.

It's a easy fix, and I can still maintain the same functionality. Although, if its not broken there is no reason to fix it.

So the site that is a gateway to your current work as a "web designer" is sufficient as a breakable tech-demo?

Actually, I don't normally give bja888.com to clients. Usually I send them my resume and a cover letter highlighting certen things. Bja888.com has always been for friends and sutch.
