Spread sheet application
I hate to use a brand name, but:
I need a "sharpe" organizer type device (one that sells for under $30) with a spread sheet application, and PC Sync ability. Does anyone know where I might find one, or - Can anyone write or dl a spread sheet application for one? |

I dont know how good of applications you can find for a sharp organizer that costs under 30 bucks. now if you had the money to buy one that is more powerful like a PocketPC or a new palm you could get a spreadsheet application

Yea, that's the thing, BK. For a few hundred dollars.....
I should have given more information. I play darts, and am considering bidding for the league statistician/net administrator. I think it would be fun, but I don't want to fat finger data from a bunch of beer soaked score sheets. I've seen these things. Trust me, it would be a full time job to make sense of sheets written on by a bunch of beer drink'n, crayon write'n, nose pickers. The plan is to buy a bunch of these "PDA" type things, issue them to the team captains, and make them do the dirty work. Any advise? Can this be done with a Cell phone application? |

it could be done with a C# web service that is accessed via cell phone.... The Sharp organizers I don't think have the ability to link to anything other than themselves... you may be able to hot-sync a high-end one like you do a PDA, but I haven't seen them, but nor have I been looking for them.

DataViz * documents to go, premium *. I bought it few months back for 30 dollars, I've seen it around 40 dollars now!
I also so something neat the other day at a tech show in New York, Bluetooth pocket scanner OCR the size of a ball point pen, scan to phone or any device Bluetooth compatible, it was really neat. I tried it out, it was cool, you can scan a phone book page and the numbers and names are added to your phone book or scan written text. Also great for scanning sale receipts. Just another gadget I will have to have, ![]() EDIT:: I don't know it it supports Sharp, sorry! printf |

Well PocketPC supports the compact .NET framework, but anything with a web browser could work with IRs idea. And if a pda doesn't browse the web, what's its point!
