i also had a similar experience. before i learned to program, i have always felt inferior to others in many ways .

but when i wrote my first program, i got a little boost in my self-confidence. and a little more after my second, a little more after the third and it went on.

Yep. Fractions are what's most accepted. But '/' should be replaced by the divide sign apparently.
