Hi, Ive been given a assignment in witch to build a calculator in VB, does anyone know any starting points for this as im qoite new to this language.

Well,
Do you know to add buttons, labels, etc... to form?
Just make the basic calculator layout, and then double-click buttons with digits from 0-9 and assign them action.

@coldDeath: Nothing wrong with IR's post, as many are seeking free homework services. Granted, the OP MIGHT be looking for some explication regarding what a calculator does in general terms. Why didn't you tell 'im? LOL!

I know how to add the buttons, but im just a bit stuck with some of the code that I should add into each button.
Like the code for number 1-9 then I just need to add the multplication sign but have no idea what the code for that is.

Anyway I should figure this out if I study a little, I asked here because you get downgraded if you ask for help at college.

No not exactly, but if you ask your course teacher here in london colleges they downgrade you cause its not fair on the people that do ithe work all by themselvs.
If you keep quiet about where you got help it should be fine and you will get the best grades in class hopefully.
