What do you think about emu8086?
I tried it, and quickly fell in love with it...
it shows registers, interupts, can emulate LED displays, robots....

I will use it to learn assembly,
and later i will try MASM32.

BinaryStorm, Hostile Encounter has not been written with MASM. It has been written with TASM (MASM would have been way too slow for the job).

Interestingly enough the author hosts the MASM32 package at the Hostile Encounter website.

I know of it, lostcauz, but Bodgan was an old friend of mines, and i also know with what Assembler he wrote his game, and how. He posts this Link to MASM because he has been asked by Hutch, who wishes to extend the base of the legal problems coming with the redistribution of MASM, that, even though "tolerated" by MicroSoft, is nevertheless illegal, as stated in the Eula.

Nowadays, Bodgan is closer to FASM than to MASM, if you'd really like to know, the whole story.

Actually I believed you when you stated that Bogdan wrote the game in TASM as IIRC he wrote SolarOS with the same assembler. I disagree with your views on MASM and I won't take the bait concerning the legalities. I hope you will refrain from dragging your personal feuds to this site.
