Isn't there a build/compile option? Press it and go to the folder where your project is.

Should be File -> Make. If you don't have that, you're probably running the Working Model edition, which doesn't support it. That's why it's free.

See if you can pick up a copy of VB .NET instead.

The Visual Studio 6.0 C/C++ Compiler is now free, so the VB6 one should be too, as its simply an extension. So you might be within your rights to acquire it.

So is the Visual Studio .NET 2003 C/C++ Compiler, which is about a hundred and thirty-seven times better:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/visualc/vctoolkit2003/

I don't know of a VB equivalent.

Nevertheless it won't let the Working Modal Edition compile VB6 code which is what this thread is about.

Bl00dninja: I downloaded the zip you linked to, and it does seem strange microsoft include the package and deployment wizard given that it doesn't compile

If you cant get your hands on Visual Studio 2003 .NET get SharpDevelop, its free and works great! (Currently using for C#)
