Project in php-mySql

HI ppl,

I am going to start a project. Anonline business application for a business.
But how do i start it?

What i mean is that i have carried out projects before in Java. However, for OOP there's reams of project tools such as GRAPPLE.

I want to be organised and have sections like;
Requirements Gathering
Analysis
Design
etc...sure you know the rest

I don't know where to look for a tool/process/standards for programming in php and mysql?

Are there any?

Thanks in advance

Well, all you really need is a webserver with PHP and MySQL installed. The PHP Documentation is excellent, and should be a great help.

Yes the documentation is good.

However, I meant in terms of project management.

i'm sorry, i don't really know anything about project management. Most of the time, I just open an editor and start writing code

this is how I start projects:
1) get 6-pack of beer
2) notebook w/ pen next to keyboard
3) sit down
4) fire up computer
5) open vi
6) start typing

I guess if you want to plan it out you can do that, PHP5 is OOP so you can use the same tools you use for those projects to layout a PHP project.
Good luck, let us know if you have any more problems.
