At the time of my posts, I had a lot of time on my hands, and I was just playing around with the forum trying to figure out everything to do with it. I was actually quite proud of myself for making the font a different color and all, seeing as how I had to type that stuff in before and after what I said to make it different colors and all. I'll try to make my fonts more "serious" from now on.

Thanks for all of the advice about my webpage. It's starting to look pretty good, except now I think I need to change my font! :o
I wouldn't worry about the font or color of your posts, if you like it do it! That's what i always say. This place could use a little color in the fonts, seeing as we have enough "color" in the content of the posts lol

Lol... Indeed, the rules say nothing about font color or style. So Teecha, use purple Comic Sans MS if you want and tell them they should be lucky that every character isn't a different color. By the way, Comic Sans MS is what we are using on her web page... for all of the "haters" of the font, you can override it with Times New Roman in your browser settings. The kids have previewed her website and they love it so far..

I don't believe any of the "encouragement" I am getting to be harsh. At first when my web site was completed I thought it looked not bad but now I know first hand that I was way wrong on that one. Plus on a short note I am FEMALE so maybe its a girl thing who knows?

On the website I created (the one with lots of "encouragement) I started out using Comic Sans MS but changed to Arial Black later. It looked okay to begin with but after a while it just looked bad. For a childs website it might work out (BIG emphasis on the might) but you may not want to take my word for it.

Do not worry too much Teecha I can relate to what you are saying about things being cutesy and all. As you said the majority of members here are guys so how could they possibly understand us.

Three consecutive posts in 10 minutes is almost a dead giveaway that you belong to the superior gender .
