Exclamation Login Help

I know this is asking a lot but could someone please give me the basic code so that I can make it so that people have to log in to my web page. I also want people to have there own user accounts and I was hoping someone could help me with that to. I am not asking for someone to code my site because i know that you cant do that but I am hoping that you could assist me to code my own site.

An alternative to .htaccess files... you could put the login info in a MySQL database and have a PHP script to authenticate.

Hey Coolprogram, welcome to the site. You spelled "Welcome" wrong on the first page of your site.

Btw, thanks alot for the meaningless post that mentioned "get a db and do it yourself, it's very simple". That doesn't help. However google does: http://www.google.com/search?q=basic+login+with+PHP

I use webmonkey and htmlgoodies for my resources. Great sites! Try webmonkey's php guides. I've been reading these lately and they've really helped me with a lot of stuff. Also this article in specific looks like it's something you might be able to use in your site. Hope that helps.
