I'd say VB. Makes programming so simple, that you could master it, but be totally lost in a real language.

I can't stand VB or COBOL, so I'd have to split the bill between them

The problem with the way this question was worded is that there is no "worst programming language". Brainfuck can certainly f up your brain, and vb can definatly screw you up. But brainfuck can teach you a lot of stuff, and if you don't want to learn to program but need a quick fix vb can help you there. The question should be "What is your least favorite programming language, and even that is a little hard to answer, but I'll try and say that it's vb. For the same reason you don't like it bulio.
But always avoid programming in cobol if possible, at least that's what I'm told. |

I agree with Lockick, there is no real "worst programming language", but moreso the least favorite.
VB would come to mind first... but I have written several very useful programs from small to enterprise level using it. I have made quite a bit of money thanks to the "ease" of VB. The reason it comes to mind as the least favorite, is because everything is done for you and makes it painfully easy. I like being in control and seeing things behind the scenes, abstraction is good, but only in small doses. Having said that and nearly in contradiction, I avoid Assembly like the plague. So Assembly would be my least favorite to code in, out of all of them out there.

Again, it depends on the definition of "worst" or what makes a language seem unfavorable. Try APL.

so it's down to VB and Brainfuck. What would you rather have as a skill on your resume, BrainFuck or VB?
