Simulating a Key press

Is there a way thru J/VBscript or ne other language to simulate a keypress

Like it would do the same thing as if the user pressed a button on the key board, like a pagedown, or Ctrl -r or tab or something like that

You're question isn't clear enough. You can always unilaterally call some function that would be also be called if some key were pressed. If you're wanting to cause a condition such that it would appear to the system as a whole as if a key had been pressed, you're opening a whole other can of worms.
