killing 1337...
How hard would it be to create a 1337 filter for the most common message boards? Like a plugin for them?
It would search non-common combinations of words and nummbers and just switch them with ****. I no s*** of programming in php (since I'm trying to learn c++), but since this would be a web-project, and since most message boards are writen in php, I think this would be a very very good project for someone to do... I believe that a lot of admins would be interest in having that. On the other hand I question myself if it is ethical to deny people their right to be annoying. I mean... That's what freedom of speech is all about and stuff... Anyway... what d'ya think?

I have this cool idea for a gyrocopter that folds to fit in my shirt pocket and runs on insects it sucks into its intake. As soon as I implement it I'm gonna un-retire just so I can commute again and make a fortune

well there isnt a specific 1337 filter out there atleast not for vB but there is the built in bad word filter that can be setup for 1337 words. we currently are not using it to filter out cuss words or any words for that matter. I just figured it was up to the users not to use the words that should be in the fillter
