java to xml

how do i save "java file" into .xml format?? i did a bit of research and found xerces. A package for parsing. will it help?

Xerces is an XML parser.
You cannot convert Java program source to XML using Xerces.

It is not clear what you want here. Howevr there are tools to convert Java programs to HTML if you wish to do so.

Read JAXB where you can marshall or unmarshall a Java object
