how to add keyboard short cuts to a data grid column and to a combo box

hi. tried looking in the data grid and combo box properties. i have a data set set in the data grid. so, how do i add a keyboard short cut to a data grid
column, and how do i code this. also would like a keyboard short cut to jump to a combo box. what's the code for this. do not use the mouse, as a blind
it student using a screen reader, Jaws For Windows any help please. tried googling, but found no easy solution. any one
got any ideas. thanks. just jazzing up my application. before copying it and extending the application for the next subject, doing style sheets and atatching
it to buttons on the form, using xml and xsl. so, any help. thanks. ps: or do i have to write a whole class, the keypress event, for the controls. must
be a more easier way. using visual studio 2013 community edition, windows 8.1 64 bit entterprise. did use the help in visual studio. and came to this post.

See the following link for assigning a shortcut to a label, followed by a control:

As for the datagrid, I think you need to use the KeyDown/KeyPress/KeyPress event. If you don't want that you need to find a more advanced datagrid control.
