Re: Testing My Contact Centre Application

Downloaded and glanced at it (not run it yet). What I noticed first is the lack of indentation, which makes it hard to read.

Second, why so many <br/> tags? If you use CSS properly, you don't need them at all.

Third, validatelogin.php has a quoting error on line 32.

Fourth: userfunction.php has a quoting error on line 115. Updating a user password should fail.

Fifth: updateEvent.php is the only one with a capital letter in it, that would make it fail on my *nix server.

Re: Testing My Contact Centre Application

You should indent where needed to make the structure clear, something like this:
<body>
  <header>
    <h1>Title</h1>
  </header>
</body>

if ($var == 'value')
{
    $var2 = $var;
}
else
{
    // do something else
}

This will make it easier to spot mistakes. As for the broken image, I had said I haven't run it yet. It's probably a path issue.

Re: Testing My Contact Centre Application

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '{' in C:\wamp\www\tests\WebSiteDevelopment\scripts\userfunctions.php on line 49

when trying to create an account. Second, in what file can I change the database user/password? Did you even test this yourself?

Re: Testing My Contact Centre Application

I want to change the database credentials, so that they match mine.

BTW, you can test this on your computer if you install WAMPServer.

Re: Testing My Contact Centre Application

You test it the same way you would anything else: locally, by loading the application up in your XAMPP server and testing it.
