yeah i know what you mean the IT idustry right now is more about who you know then what you know or you have to have tons of experience to get a job. i was lucky to get my job as i had worked for the company before i started programming for them. my AS degree is kind of worthless it seems but i cant wait till i have my BS degree as i will have 4 years of work experience by that time

about that matter, education is really required for most kiddies nowadays. i'm one of them. some of my friend's question is that why do others got farther from their dreams when they haven't graduated from college? do you know of anyone who didin't graduated from college but is damn rich now?
I don't want to sound like i am braging, but my dad is doing quite well for somebody who just made it out of highschool.

experiecne is far better to have on the resume than a bunch of university stuff. However, some places require that you have both, no matter what.

Depends on the insustry as well, (cant think of any to mind) but some you require more experiance then a piece of paper. Like building you need experiance for that one.

A degree is usually the trump card against people with only experience.

btw - America, nor any other country is that bad. The only thing we see of other peoples' countries is simply the government, not the citizens or the way of life. Government, in and of itself is normally corrupt with hidden agendas. For instance, oil.

oil? stealing oil? i strongly agree with that it is not the people but the government itself.

and it is really hard for people who find it difficult to find a stable job that he only finishes high school.

i deleted the previous post here. it was quite boring <_< sorry about that i should cover myself
