Heres what I want to do:

First of all Im a volunteer firefighter, just to give you some background. I have an LED dashlight currently on my car but will soon add more. I want to control my blue lights/flashers, with a laptop. I'll also put some GPS software on the laptop for maps and ease of getting to the scene. Also I would put some GM software on it to monitor engine read outs.

Yes, well I'd like to, but there isn't always something on fire. So until granny leaves the gas on then lights up, I spend my time messing with computers. Ooble, you seem rather educated. So instead of trying to add to your "king of pointless posts" title, do you have any idea if what I'm asking is feasible?

Anything's possible. This particular feat depends on how much programming/electronics knowledge you posess.

If I had enough knowledge on programming and electronincs, I wouldnt be asking if it was feasible. Im not an experienced programmer, but Im learning. What I want is someone to tell me what is required for me to accomplish this.
