Hi all, its been 2 weeks since my last confession...

I am almost a BCompSci graduate from Wollongong University (about 100kms south from Sydney Australia) Should have graduated last November but had a difference of opinion with a supervisor, they screwed me over and didnt approve my graduation application until March this year, so.... July 14 is the day.

Main focus of my studies was C++ early on, then java, with a sprinkle of php, jsp, perl, and databases on top. My major project was an online carpooling service, completely graphical, php on apache and mySQL. Thought I was going to be rich but had no luck aquiring rights to maps. Has the potential to help a lot of problems with pollution, traffic and parking, but... cest la vie. At least I got a HD.

So... in a nutshell, i finished the easy studying part, now just have to find an employer willing to take me on.

So what are your interests in computers and how did u come 2 programming forms?

I saw a project that was at a maximum of $24500 there, so that's not bad.

I was a maintenance fitter for 14 years, went thorugh 1 plant shutdown and could see it coming again. I thought I would jump ship early and took a voluntary redundancy payout. That was in 2000.

Not long before that I had bought my 2nd PC, big upgrade to P3 from 486 and connected to the internet and got addicted to it. Played heaps of online euchre and got into volkswagen forums... spent all night doing it.

In search of a new career I decided to have a crack at university. Went into internet science which was a lot of networking type stuff, a little programming but rather dull. My high school dropout maths couldnt cope and I switched to computer scince and did lots of programming.
