Another online text RPG

Yup, I'm that "next person that starts learning PHP and makes an online game" that you swore you were gonna shoot down with that shotgun sitting in your closet.

Well, it's gonna be "unique", and "innovative" and all those other flashy words that people use to promote their stuff.

And like every other person out there that has the ability to think, I've got ideas!

Well... it's at http://el.crazedmindz.com/ It's in the alpha stages because I haven't really worked on it that much, I learn more each day, and I'm a perfectionist, so I keep cleaning up the code that is already there before I continue, and... school is a time-hog(as are girlfriends).

If you feel that there are enough text rpgs out there as it is, or you just don't like text rpgs, and that is the only base for you post, get ready to be ignored. All other posts are warmly welcomed, whether they be critisisive(Die english language, DIE!), or whatever.

Email Komodo@el.crazedmindz.com with the email address that you registered with, I'll check the database and give you your password.

I'd put up a feature where you can have your password reset and a new one sent to your email, but the function mail() won't work...

No offense, but learn 3d programming. Text based rpgs are a waste of time, mostly because there are alot of people like me who want to see something on the screen rendering itself, rather than reading words.

Ya, some people like it, but you get more of an audience with an actual game.

Stop now. I wouldn't/didn't attempt to make a text based game, even if it would take me a week and I'd learn a lot from it, because it's a waste of time and it's not up to par with anything else online/in the marketplace.

seriously, listen to me, stop wasting time with that text based game. It won't get you anywhere. Grab a book or two on 3d, and learn some useful stuff that you can make a game with. I'm not trying to be an asshole.

Sure you're not. Lots of people play text RPGs, lots of people play 2 or 3 or more actually.
Not everyone needs big colorful pictures to tell them whats going on.

Just cause you're not into something, doesn't mean nobody likes it.

I don't like GunBound, LOTS of people play that stupid game, same with RuneScape.
