ASP is good for .NET intergration, but apart from that you can do anything MS can do for free.

Go with PHP.

PHP is the king of all scripting for the web. YOu could also look into using C# if you wanted to learn a language that is good on and off the net.

Ok, here's my deal. I'm going for an online game dev thing, and I basically need a website to be updated with player information (stats and such that can be viewed on the website), payment information, and just links upon movie clips upon links. I need my website to sell my game (under construction). What would I need to do this, c# or PHP??? C# seems to have some potential, but I really don't know.

PHP would do it as well, but it really just comes down to what you feel fixs your skill level and has the feautures that you want.

Can I ask you something piz??? wouldn't you rather spend more time programming and making a living/game than smoking drugs or getting drunk??? That's my deal. Most of the people I know that program do so, but are usually high or drunk when they do. I figure if I dedicate so much time to my studies with programming, I'll surpass most people 10 years ahead of me. Comments???...

That depends entirely on your mindset, skill level and talent. No one can code all the time - if they want to spend their non-coding time getting pissed/stoned/laid, then kudos to them. Do your best - until you get a job coding, that's all anyone can ask you to do.

And for the record, I would recommend PHP.
