Reccomend some Java literature..?
Ok, so I gotta take a Java programming class in the fall, so I'd like a bit of a head start (people have said this class is nuts, so the more I learn over the summer the better). Anyways, I need some good java books reccomended to me. I have a great deal of experience in web programming, PHP, HTML, PERL, Javascript (some, although I hate this language) and can work my way around C. So I don't know if I'd want to go with a beginner book and just play it safe or if there's something good for someone who gets the jist of OOP and programming concepts (loops, basic control structures, if statements, arrays, stuff like this). So any and all help is much appreciated.

If you understand the basics you could prob pick up most languages with a good intermediate book.
