Well, the short cut does the same thing, the DOS windows opens and I canīt close it unless I do it by myself...

you know... #include<stdlib.h> allows you to use the "system()" command. So your programme could be considered a "batch" file. Or you could make registry keys and put them in the startup reg. So many things you could do, but your programme will not run if you use a batch file. Windows built in "anti-virus" (What ever the F*** that is suppose to do) will stop it before it runs.

hipolito: In that case, you aren't running a true Windows program. What happens if you just double-click on the EXE?

It pops the DOS window and start the program on the memory.

Yup - it's not a true Windows program. How many Windows apps do you know that pop up a DOS window on startup? In whatever IDE you're using, create a new project and set it to Win32 instead of the Console. If you're using a command-line compiler, look for a Win32 flag.
