Hi,

Please someone help me with this. I receive the following error when I try to connect to an oracle database from an ASP file:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e4d'

[Microsoft][ODBC driver for Oracle][Oracle]ORA-01034: ORACLE not available

The funny part is it was working fine until two days back. There has been no change in the coding or any new installations.

check the connection... for oracle because i usually have problems with server connection

ORA-01034: ORACLE not available

Is your database and server where it resides online ?
