assembly language help
hi ..
I am trying to figure out how to solve this problem..I have tried in out and came up with the asnwers as you can see, but guess that I might be wrong somewhere...I am not good with assembly language programming..can someone help me out here ? --------- There is a main memory with 2 raised to the power of 26 words and a fully associative mapped cache. The memory is word addressable. Note that a single cache line holds 32 words. If we have a memory address (26 bits),would we be pictorially show the format of field petition in the memory address and how ? * How can we get the total number of bits in the address, and what can be the size in bits of each field PS: I think the first answer should be 67108864 The second (not sure) The third: 8 bits... |
